Il "B&B Delle Rose" sull'isola di Filicudi si trova al centro dell'isola ed è il posto ideale per raggiungere qualunque località anche a piedi, percorrendo le antiche mulattiere. Così, chi ama camminare, potrà raggiungere il porto o Pecorini mare in una decina di minuti (vedi la mappa dell'isola).
Il B&B dista circa 3 km dal Porto e circa 5 km da Pecorini Mare. Entrambe le località si possono raggiungere a piedi in circa 15 minuti attraverso le antiche mulattiere, mantenute in buono stato. In alternativa è possibile rivolgersi alla reception per chiedere come noleggiare motorini, auto o imbarcazioni nel caso in cui vogliate fare qualche escursione intorno all'isola.
Potrete anche usufruire di un efficiente servizio taxi che vi accompagnerà dappertutto.
Le camere del B&B Delle Rose lasciano intatta l'atmosfera che si respirava nelle case eoliane di un tempo. Ogni camera ha, infatti, il proprio terrazzo ( u bagghiu ) con copertura di fascine essiccate al sole. La luce eoliana le illumina dando calore e vivacità ad ognuna di esse. Durante il giorno le cicale accompagnano il riposo pomeridiano mentre la notte lascia spazio all'armonioso suono emesso dai grilli notturni.
Per non dimenticare di essere in un posto al di fuori dei luoghi comuni basta guardare il cielo... ...sempre stellato come la notte di S. Lorenzo.
Ogni camera è dotata di: bagno con doccia, minifrigo, aria condizionata e pompa di calore, asciugacapelli, cassetta di sicurezza, piccolo lavandino. TV a richiesta senza sovraprezzo.
Il terrazzino esterno delle camere è condiviso con quello della camera accanto; per ciascuna camera sono forniti tavolo e sedie adeguati. Il giardino antistante le camere è un solarium attrezzato con sdraio sistemate tra le piante.
Per il servizio in camera è previsto un sovraprezzo. Il bar ristorante dista circa 70 metri dalle camere, bisogna attraversare la strada. La zona delle camere è assolutamente tranquilla, lontana dai rumori del ristorante, fresca anche nelle giornate più assolate.
Per andare in spiaggia è consigliato l'uso di scarpette in gomma per il mare.
The "B&B Delle Rose" on the island of Filicudi is located in the center of the island and is the ideal place to reach any location on foot, along the ancient mule tracks. Thus, those who love walking can reach the port or Pecorini mare in about ten minutes (see the map of the island).
The B&B is about 3 km from the port and about 5 km from Pecorini Mare. Both places can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes through the old mule tracks, which are kept in good condition. Alternatively, you can contact the reception to ask how to rent mopeds, cars or boats in case you want to do some excursions around the island. You can also take advantage of an efficient taxi service that will take you everywhere.
The rooms of the B&B Delle Rose leave intact the atmosphere that reigned in the Aeolian houses of the past. In fact, each room has its own terrace (u bagghiu) covered with sun-dried bundles. The Aeolian light illuminates them giving warmth and liveliness to each of them. During the day the cicadas accompany the afternoon rest while the night gives way to the harmonious sound emitted by the night crickets. In order not to forget to be in a place outside the common places, just look at the sky ... ... always starry like the night of San Lorenzo.
Each room is equipped with: bathroom with shower, mini fridge, air conditioning and heat pump, hairdryer, safe, small sink. TV on request at no extra charge.
The external terrace of the rooms is shared with that of the next room; for each room adequate table and chairs are provided. The garden in front of the rooms is a solarium equipped with deckchairs placed among the plants.
There is a surcharge for room service. The restaurant bar is about 70 meters from the rooms, you have to cross the road. The room area is absolutely quiet, far from the noise of the restaurant, cool even on the sunniest days.
To go to the beach it is recommended to use rubber shoes for the sea.
